Robert Baker, our Rescue Coordinator, responded to a request by Jennifer Skiff for inspirational stories about dogs. He related the story of Damona, their diabetic foster dog, and her encounter with a child during a visit to an elementary school. This story will be one chapter in "The Divinity of Dogs", a new book to be released in October 2012.
Why am I telling you this? Because, everyone who contributed material for the book was allowed to select a Charity of Choice, to which a share of the proceeds from the book will be donated. And Bob chose SOS-SRF.
